Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we handle it.

What we collect

When you contact us or book an inspection, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, property suburb or address, and any notes about your pool or spa barrier. We collect this directly from you, through our contact form, by phone, or by email.

When you visit this website, some details are also collected automatically. These include the pages you look at, how long you stay, the type of phone or computer and browser you use, your rough location (your region, not your address), and how you found the site, such as a Google search or one of our ads.

Why we collect it

We use the details you give us only to respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out your inspection, issue your compliance certificate, and keep you informed about your job. We do not sell your personal information, and we only share it where the law requires it.

We use the website details to see which pages help people and to fix parts of the site that are hard to use.

Website analytics and cookies

We use these tools on this website:

  • Google Analytics, from Google. It counts visits and shows us which pages people use. It also records when someone taps our phone number or sends our contact form.
  • Microsoft Clarity, from Microsoft. It records how people use each page, such as clicks, taps and scrolling. We watch these recordings to find parts of the site that are hard to use.
  • Google Ads. We advertise on Google. Google Analytics tells Google Ads when someone who clicked one of our ads taps our phone number or sends an enquiry, so we know which ads work.

These tools use cookies. A cookie is a small file your browser saves on your phone or computer. It lets the tool know when the same browser comes back. The cookies do not tell us your name, phone number or email.

Google and Microsoft may store this information outside Australia. You can read how they handle it in the Google Privacy Policy and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

How to turn cookies off

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a private or incognito window. To stop Google Analytics on every website you visit, you can install Google's free opt-out add-on.

How we store it

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and to protect it from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law.

When you send our contact form, the website emails your enquiry to us through Brevo, an email service. It also adds your enquiry to Formitize, the job system we use to book and manage inspections. Our email runs on Google Workspace.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Just get in touch and we will help.
